Be a Duck.....

Oh SONIC why are you doing this to me? We have had a few, well a lot of "Technical Difficulties" this last week. Our system has been crashing due to the high volume of Centers we have on the network. Remember I told you a long time ago when I "graduated" as a SONIC expert that I got a diploma and a Rubber Ducky. Well the Rubber Ducky is a metaphor; I was told to think about how a duck looks when it is swimming across the water. On the surface, it is very calm and in control, but under the surface, there was a lot of action. So this past week I have worn a confident smile from ear to ear while inside I was tense with frustration. Unfortunately, I received an email that our 12th Deployment would be postponed and I would have to work in my home (CT) Market. Well on the bright side I wouldn't have to take the ridiculous flight itinerary that was planned for me the following week. My next deployment is to BOSTON. Okay, so you all know I live in CT right? It's only a two and a half hour drive. Well the itinerary reads as follows; White Plains, NY to Washington, DC to Boston. Hmmm, it gets worse on the way home; Boston to Philadelphia to White Plains, NY???? I know, I know ridiculous! Well Thank God I won't have to be Up in the Air on this one! PS: When the trip was canceled I sent an email requesting I could drive. It was granted.
