Ok, ok so Kalamazoo (I said it again) is a great little place to visit, but after only one night you have pretty much lived up all there is to see and do in Kalamazoo. So no, I will not be moving here anytime soon. It was a Friday night and only two hours to Detroit and now that I knew how to use a GPS I decided to go meet some of my travel buddies. We all met up at HockeyTown Cafe (www.hockeytowncafe.com/). It has three floors, a great atmosphere, and a rooftop bar with an amazing view of the stadium which is located right across the street. IT was a great choice for four out-of-towners to experience good ole' Detroit. The night was filled with many laughs. I did refer to those large animal statues as LIONS more then once. Only me..the stadium is home of the Detroit TIGERS. However, Clancy walking around with her GPS in hand to locate us from her parking space will never be forgotten. Oh and for the record, Navigation does not work when not driving, who knew?
