What to do in Kalamazoo???

I know I know my "followers" have missed my Blogging, just as I have missed the traveling. :) I have been in CT for a two-week hiatus and boy did I have the urge to get back Up in the Air. Well as I sit here in the Westchester Airport awaiting my flight to be delayed for the 3rd time today, what was I thinking? The truth is I really don't mind. I mean WHAT TO DO IN KALAMAZOO? I am off to Kalamazoo, MI for the week and it has given me time to Google this oddly named city. Did you know Derek Jeter moved to Kalamazoo when he was four?. Another fun fact of the day; The first outdoor pedestrian shopping mall in the US was built in  Kalamazoo in 1959. I know useless facts of the day, but I told you I'm bored, give me a break and pretend you're interested! I am sitting here for the past three hours with seats open all around me. Yet, this woman proceeds to sit right next to me, practically on top of me. She dove right into a conversation with me even though my head was down and my nose was buried into my blackberry and on my computer.  She asks me if I was in school? Do I look like I'm in school lady? Are you implying that I am young? Why thank you. But No, I am actually NOT attending Frat Parties on the regular. I have a real job and travel for Jenny Craig. So she proceeds to tell me her whole life story. She worked for Kraft Foods for 15 years, she traveled and was implementing low-sodium foods for Walmart for a few years, she then worked for South Beach and Atkins...really lady?? Are you handing me your resume or your Yo-Yo Dieting History? The things strangers tell you. I guess I'm one of those approachable people....please keep your fingers crossed this woman is not sitting next to me on this flight. I will keep you posted.....
