***Astros***

April 23,2010
After a long week it was time to venture out on a Friday night. Of course if there is a ballpark within the state I usually become acquainted. Astros stadium was huge, believe me we walked in and realized our seats were as far away as possible from where we were standing, just saying! So after climbing ramp after never ending ramp in the  humidity, we finally found our 12$ seats with a beer in hand. We finished the beer and decided to smooze our way into better seats, Amy, #1 Yankees fan & Beth, #1 Sox fan..don't worry no one needs to know that. We walked around saw the train, you know the train that choo choos when the home team hits a home run? It's located under that fake Citgo sign. We all know the real one is located at Fenway. We ended up on the third base line, and check out our cup holders in front of our seat. Sonic saved us these seats..if you don't get the joke, you obviously haven't been following my blog and it's time to back track and do your homework. Fireworks exploded after the game and we ventured to the local Astros bar, Home Plate across the street. After some horrible service, and no I wasn't wearing any Boston apparel nor was Amy in her horrible Yankees gear, we stepped outside and started to retrace our steps to the car. Then we spotted our ride to the car a Rickshaw! If you don't know what one of these is and you are looking towards losing weight, guess what I just found your newest career. This guy who was working off tips alone was extremely personable, had recently lost 40lbs and had much patience when we dragged him to three different parking lots. I told you people I have no sense of direction. Obviously, my travel buddies don't either. We finally made it to our car I never said finding the highway home would be easy. We ended up driving past this bar, Beavers, well with a name like that we had to go in. We walked in expecting a dive bar, but it was the complete opposite with amazing drinks and light fixtures. I know random. The last night in Houston was coming to end and I will tell you I enjoyed Houston minus the humidity (and it's not even June) and the ONE WAY STREETS I could do without!
