Ahoy, Matey!

 July 26th, 2010- July 31, 2010
So I landed in Duluth on Tuesday and the only thing missing was my galoshes. The forecast was cold, rainy, with a chance of nothing to do. I drove from Duluth, Minnesota to my hotel in Superior, Wisconsin. I did wonder why I wasn't staying in the 12 hotels I passed on the way or in the same state but who am I to question it? That night it was raining so hard I decided to just go to the movies. "Yes Lady, Just one ticket".  As she looks at me strange. Yet, I have no qualms going to the movies by myself. So my week included; walking downtown Duluth, which I must say is a quaint little town, going to the Biggest Giftshop in the water in the world, eating at Grandmas restaurant with a view of the Aerial Bridge. The aerial bridge is one of two in the world. The other is in France. I was speaking to someone who told me I got way too excited about bridges this week and needed to stop taking pictures and talking about them because I was sounding crazy, but come on what else is there to do in Duluth? Well I was lucky The Tall Ships Duluth 2010 was in town. (http://www.visitduluth.com/tall-ships/)  I was able to see the actual ship from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, many pirates roomed the streets of  Duluth which was highly populated but it caused for some interesting people watching. Friday night I went on a Happy Hour Boat Cruise on Lake Superior for 10$ and again went to the movies. Let's just say Minnesota and Wisconsin are not on my list of relocation spots, vacation spots, well, the two are not any list of mine at all.
