Well I arrived in Fayetteville, Arkansas aka the middle of nowhere. Or as my employees in Joplin, MO would tell me the state that is the birthplace of Walmart where the people have so called "Walmart $" Hmmm, let's just say the two hour drive to Joplin, MO was cows, cows and more cows. I didn't even see any civilization for a good hour. My GPS lost Sattelites for a good 20min and I thought of how I would write SOS with my stilettos in the fields. When I arrived in Joplin I drove around & used the GPS to find some attractions...Hmmm..a whole lot of nothing came up. When I told a friend of mine that I was traveling to Missouri he told me that Harry Truman was from there, he had read his book and highly recommended it. As you can tell from the bottom photo I did consider this. (Sorry to you know who you are, and I know you read my blog!) But 72miles to visit Truman's house was not very enticing..unless he was born on a Vineyard. I followed the signs to Historical Joplin, which should have been listed as Sketchy Joplin. I had googled Joplin and the only attraction that caught my eye was Grand Falls. Okay, so the first picture is what was on the internet and the second picture is the actual picture I took at the waterfalls..if that's what you want to call them? Let's just say I was dissapointed with Joplin and it was only just the beginning...ACTUAL PICTURE @ GRAND FALLS...
