My true love is for Fenway but tonight I cheated and fell in love with Camden Yards. The stadium is beautiful and I loved everything about it, well everything but the fake Green Monster in the outfield, not cute. I had a 47min DIRECT flight to DC. I know I know surreal right? So I got right into the car and drove to downtown Baltimore, who would stay in their hotel when you could eat fried Pickles? (Mind you I hadn't seen my hotel yet) So I met my girlfriend from college, I will disclose her name: Kat..or Kitty as my friends kept calling her. Pickles Pub is located directly across from the ballpark and you must go here for a pregame beer and a fried pickle of course. Don't knock it till you try it! So my two other Sonic road buddies came soon after and we all headed into the stadium. It's a shame the Orioles don't have a winning record, but I would recommend this ballpark for a family get-away or even a weekend away with friends. I mean can you really sum up a wonderful night with friends through a 13$ ticket? Priceless.
