A True Red Sox fan....

 July 6,2010
It's funny how far I have come in my life. My parents could agree with this. When I was young I needed my hand held to do anything, I was shy and hesitant to do the smallest of tasks on my own. Now I go everyone on my own, the movies, dinner, and any stadium I can find...I owe a great deal of my independence to someone close to my heart and myself, for I've come to realize that by not truly living your life it will soon pass you by....so after my little philosophical rant and my Direct, yes, Direct flight to Tampa. I landed with the intention of going straight to Tropicana field to see the Rays play my favorite team The Red Sox. I drove in torrential rain to the stadium thinking to myself this is going to get postponed. But we all know Florida rain, it comes and goes just like my paycheck. When I got to the stadium who knew it was a dome? Perfect. I thought nothing about buying a 21$ single ticket and going to watch the game solo. As I walked in I randomly called one of my fellow ground teamers and friends, Clare who on a whim drove straight to me from the airport and we had a wonderful evening in a stadium I would recommend to anyone with a family with kids, or someone like me who appreciates the little things and can act like a kid at heart; this is a stadium for you. Um hello, I got my own baseball card and picture on a newspaper and got to pet the sting rays in Center Field, what could be better?!
