The K D Lang Hallelujah song was selected by the performer for the Vancouver opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics 2010.

As I drove down a windy road into the picturesque pink background with the most beautiful mountain tops I have ever seen, This song; Hallelujah came on. It was almost a sign as I thought to myself "I feel like I'm driving into Heaven" It was a feeling I couldn't explain....nor do I have a photo to describe this. I thought to myself no photograph could ever capture the first time I could hear one of my nieces' heartbeats, or the sound of my best friend's laughter, or when my parents tell me they are proud of me, nor could a photograph ever feel the goosebumps and chills I got when looking out on what felt like heaven. It is something I can't explain in words....maybe this song can help me.....It just so happens this song has a Vancouver connection as well, eh....
